We were flying quads and planes today in Mississauga and we decided do some video of a plane flight with a GoPro equipped quad. My buddy Andrew flew the quad and I flew the plane.

Re: Dancing with a plane!

Hey! Some very nice work there, John. Your chase pilot skills are excellent. Loved some of the flips you were doing to keep the camera on the plane. It looks good on film!!

Re: Dancing with a plane!

I will. He liked doing it. But he was pretty nervous about hitting my plane and it was pretty impromptu.
He wants to try again with a little more planning or choreography!
Might try again this week.

Re: Dancing with a plane!

If your a quad flyer you probably know who Mr Steele is!
Here's what you get when a quad pilot with crazy good flying skills tries to film planes!
Filmed from 5" race quad, fixed GoPro, no gimbals!
One of my favourite RC videos ever!
