Should the Basic sequence have a 1 turn spin, instead of a 2 turn spin?

NON Committee members only please.

I voted no even though I haven;t competed yet last year i did lots of practice with the sequence and ont eh sim i have done lots of prac with the 2 turns and did not find it a problem as you can use the other moves to gain lots of altitude.

I voted no Mike. I feel that flying the sequence enough will force the competitors to learn to allow for the extra spin when referring to altitude. I think a 1 turn spin is a little more difficult to exit as it comes a lot quicker. 2 turns allows for more time to be ready to exit the maneuver and finish your down line. I like 2 turns better.

Even though I flew through the spin all last season except for last sequence of the last round of the last contest, I voted NO as well. My decision on the flythrough knowing the penalties. 2005 will be different.... bring it on!
