Read about this a while back. It's a variable pitch prop mixed in kinda like a heli.

It should actually be available commercially soon.

Is it really a VP prop setup?
Amazing that this should come out about the same time I had an idea of experimenting. I was thinking about using an ESC from a car/buggy. The surface ESC has variable reverse. So half throttle to full is forward, half throttle to off is reverse. Hmmmmm
