Well pulled it out of the slick. Will need to replace the engine and one toasted servo this winter.

conrod lower bearing toasted on one cylinder. engine filled with metal flake.

would need 2x cylinders 1x crank 2x rings 1x casing as they do not sell components but complete assemblies...

Nope, came in a used plane 30 flights for my part this summer. Probably going to buy a new dle-120, still have a good 2-3 months of flying

Sounds like not enough oil or poor quality oil. The Ultra-light guys have quite a list of oils not to use. I found the Bombardier oils the best. Penzoil two cycle air cooled engine oil is also excellent. See attached.
