Hangar 9 makes a remote glow attachment that just puts a 1/8 stereo jack somewhere on the fuse so easily hidden.

It comes with an adapter for your glow driver so you don't have the weight of the driver hanging on the fuse or cowl, just the wire with the 1/8 male jack. I've used these in several planes and they cost around $10 Cdn

Here's my Tiger Moth with a McDaniel onboard ignition. You can operate this unit by having it turn on at a particular throttle setting, or switched on a separate channel.

I prefer switched as the inverted OS 91FS appears utterly reliable at idle without the plug energized. The batteries are self contained and the whole unit weighs about 3 oz.

(The Moth needed the nose weight anyway!)

i have a balsa usa quarter scale cub with a saito130twin in it with a mc daniels twin on board glow driver and it works well.if you don,t mind the extra weight or price that would be the way to go.

but the remote wire system works fine as well.
