Teaching my grandaughter flight basics

The youngest grandaughter was over the other night and was downstairs playing with the dolls and girl type stuff.. One look at her expression really told me how really bored to tears she was.. So granpa got a bright idea Why not ,, since she likes my models so much ,, let her try the basics of flight..

So we had a few short flights sitting on my lap and you never heard a kid to happy So tonight she was over again,, and again we had a couple of practice flights..

then it was solo time...

And she is only 5

I would much rather have her hands on the sticks than on a stupid I pad..

Re: Teaching my grandaughter flight basics

Your granddaughter has real aviation talent - two successful landing of the 'copter' within two minutes and a bit of flight time is just as good or better than many of us grown ups.

Next summer take her to the club field (or park with a small foamie). She's ready.

thanks for the video

The first few landings were just like mine are.
