Hi gang,

It's my first post here so I thought I'd throw up a few pictures of my newest project. This is a scratch built / designed 64" Tupolev ANT-20. She specs out as follows:

Wingspan: 64"
Wing area: 490 sq in
AUW: 20 oz
Wing loading: 5.8 oz / sq ft
Motors: 8 x LPS-B2C-A (from www.zebrahobby.ca)
Props: 8 x 5x4.3 GWS
Battery: Tanic 2s 1050 (from www.smoothair.ca)
Servos: 4 x HS55
Rx: Berg 5

She's one sweet flyer that behaves much like a trainer. The sound really must be heard to be appreciated. For a taste, check out this video:

Here are a few pictures.

It's funny. At the indoor, all my circuits were right hand circuits. I only turned left once to avoid a maintenance guy walking across the middle of the flying area with a huge ladder

I was going to ask something similar. Where's the pilot holding the CL? lmao

Very nice looking model and it flies silky and smooth. Welcome to RCC.

I guess next time I should make it out of depron and give it a flat plate airfoil - then it'll be more popular

Maybe with the instant gratification crowd. Some of us do appreciate the effort involved.... and the result.

Nice work!

And then you will be able to do some 3D stunt!

This is an impressive piece of work and one of the best Dreamer Productions' film!
