It is nice to see the message but not so nice to here about your Mother. Hope everything goes well as I know what you and your Dad are going through. My wife still, is also open with the bowel out. They should be correcting it soon, I hope. I do the dressings on it everyday and we call him big ED. I told her he would put a horse to shame.
Keep you in my prayers as that is all we have sometimes.

Ok guys, I won't say "I told you so!" Now leave him alone and let him get back to work!

Sorry to hear about your mom Andrew. Believe me I know how your feeling. My daughter just had major spinal surgery and is still in hospital and my son called me tonight to tell me my grandson was rushed to hospital again in an ambulance. At least he's not in a coma this time but we don't know what it is yet. Still waiting to hear. The emotions are running very high at the moment!

I have been to hospitals more this past two months than the last years put together...more than enough to suit me for the rest of my life!

Take care and all the best my friend!

All the best wishes for your Mother's speedy recovery.

Seems something must be up.... my brother was rushed to the hospital last Tuesday night. He has Lupus, had a Liver transplant 2 years ago and is currently on Dialisis awaiting a Kidney transplant.

He wasn't able to keep anything down for 4 days and had become dehydrated. Seems it was some sort of flu bug but with everything he has going on you never know. His liver transplant has gone well but the Dialisis does not seem to be helping much.

He is now 41, (baby bro) and has been living with Lupus since he was 12. It's been a long tough battle/race but time seems to be running out. He is a Paramedic but has not been able to work for the last 6 years so there is the added burden of trying to support his family.

Gary, all the best for your daughter and Grandson. I know it's tough when family members fall ill.

Andrew, you go back to concentrating on what's really important.... we'll do our best to hold down the fort in your abscence. All the best...

Andrew told us he was going to be very busy in Jan and Feb and would not be around too much...that's why I left hime alone....he'll be bak when he is ready......

too much "work" to do currently (real work that is) but I am hoping to get back to it in Feb...

Gary..It was great to meet you last night, if only for a little while..I can understand why you had to rush off!! Hope everyone is on the road to recovery!!

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you will have to catch up.
