Safe distance onboard ignition units

How far do I need to put my 72mhz FM radio equipment away from the electrical ignition unit wiring for my gas engine? Thank you.

Mine is about 8" from my RX. From there my antenna runs to the back of the plane.

I suppose it also depends on what you have and the quality of the ignition unit. What make is yours?

My present distance is 8", I have a Pegasus CDI unit. I'll phone Airtronics tomorrow too. Thanks for the reply.
