Hello, i just received my accu cycler and did my first cycle of a 600 tx pack.I ran the reading and came up with a discharge rate of 194mah sounds poor to me or is it .The battery has about 7 seven hours on total. Your thoughts please

Discharge rate.

Hi Wayne:

It is my understanding that the 194 MAH reading you obtained is actually what it took to charge the battery back up.

In other words, your 600 mah battery was discharged down to 406 mah (600-194) when you cycled it, and it took 194 milliamps to fully charge it.

If I am all wet, maybe someone else can chime in here.

Dennis may be right, cycle it again and see what you come up with.
If your battery was not fully charged, you will only see the MAH left.
Sometimes it takes a couple of cycles to get the battery to full capacity.

I think Dennis is correct in his answer to your question. In order to get an accurate reading on the charge/discharge perameters, first, you should fully charge the battery and then do a complete cycle or perhaps two.

Then you will have an accurate reading on the actual time and mAH of service your battery pack will give you or is available to you! I am not familiar with your charger/cycler but I have used one of the old Ace RC digi-pace units and during the discharge it will quote you the minutes of flying time, how much power the battery will be able to deliver!

Exactly which accu-cycle is it? THe Elite, or the "Pro Series" or older "Plus".

The Pro Series, and I'm pretty certain the "Plus" also, discharge the pack to 1.05 volts and show the mAh that were required to do that.

I don't know about the Elite.
