This is going to be SUCH a monster. So impressive. Are you finishing it in that (cool) green scheme on your avatar?

Re: Cleveland 1/4 Gotha G.V

Scott needs to first get the balsa logs shipped so cutting and kiln drying can begin...

Re: Cleveland 1/4 Gotha G.V

As it is a huge model, weight will be my main concern.....trying to keep it between 50-60lbs. Looking at incorporating balsa and carbon fiber again as much as possible. Just researching colour schemes now...... I like the MoRoTA one.....The stylized initials MoRoTA on the fuselage sides stand for the crew - Leutnant Mons, Leutnant Roland and as yet unidentified third crew member.

Re: Cleveland 1/4 Gotha G.V

I am sideing with you Scott on this one . for new scheme,,AVATAR CHANGE,, the MoRoTA, last picture, not the MoRoTas, fourth picture.. excellent scheme.....and has some significance as well, interesting significance...One thing for sure,,,.I am sure the third guy was not First Officer Jimmy TAbernack from Cleveland.LOL.too bad that damn Balsa did not grow up here in Alberta...and a new 27 Foot cargo trailer could be in your future as well. Good Luck on the build,, will be watching closely ....as well as on scale builder...

Re: Cleveland 1/4 Gotha G.V

That thing would have been so cool to fly in, right up till the Nieuports and Sopwiths showed up.
