Completed SIG Kougar -- SOLD!!!!!
Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
I've decided to get out of IC engines and concentrate on electrics.
This is your chance to grab some bargains.
I'm offering a built and covered Sig Kougar, with four new servoes installed with switch harness, and a good gently-used Magnum 45 engine.
The bottom center section of the wing needs covering and the cowling needs to be rechecked. Otherwise, this plane is really ARTF -- add radio and fuel.
Asking $175 Canadian.

Shot of completed airplane
If interested, please contact me via PM with your e-mail address and I'll send you the 800x600 images, inlcuding servo installation.
Details on the kit are:
Complete and in nearly ready-to-fly condition (add receiver and battery, finish wing bottom, check throws versus radio, ensure cowling is firmly attached, fuel up and fly)
Antenna wire passed down center of fuselage, out through the fitting on the top behind the canopy and attached to the top of the fin -- hook for the fin end is taped inside of fuselage.
Servoes are 3x Hobbico CS-61 Commander in fuselage, Hobbico Tracker in wing. All are new and Futaba J connectors. All clevices are metal.
Wheels are DuBro.
BTW, no silly figure inside the canopy.
BTW2: If you look at the outer LE corner, you'll see the head of a thumbtack. These are in the right place for balancing the plane -- flip over, find the thumbtacks, immediate check on being tailheavy (not where you want to be). Plane was balanced with Airtronics receiver under the switch harness and standard flat battery pack located vertically against the forward bulkhead.

The plane looks OK, but - MAN - you gotta do something about that wallpaper! (Sorry, for distracting from your sale efforts for a moment.)
Yes, the Kougar is one of my all time favorite airplanes. You gotta fly one to know what I am talking about. With all servos and engine you should have no problems selling this one.
Good pictures - despite that wall.

wallpaper is #2 on honey-do list
While I'm doing a deconstruction.reconstruciton on the downstairs bathroom, my lovely wife (who put up the wallpaper in the first place) will be removing it and going for paint.
This is a converted bedroom, so the original closet is going to be filled with an entertainment unit. Room for more airplane/aviation videos!!!!!
See you all on Sunday morning at the swapmeet!
