Your building supply dealer ie. Home Hardware(Stratford) will have the 2 3/8" square gutter pipe for the fuse and a sign shop will usually have the white 4mm coroplast in stock but likely have to order the 2mm or colored 4mm.I make my firewalls from wood using a table saw and spars from pine or spruce again with the table saw. Or, you can buy cutting board at your Wally Mart for firewall material and purchase yardsticks for spars. I recommend the DPS as a good first build.Good Luck

Yardstick spars

I just got back from my local Home Hardware store and saw that they have nice straight yard (metre) sticks on sale for 0.99 each. I bought 8. Good cheap spars, just the right length and width for SPADs. I'm far from PEI but Home Hardware/building supplies is a national chain and should have most of what you need. Many of them stock 4mm coroplast (they call it 'tenplast' or something like that) in 4 X 8 sheets in white, red, blue, yellow for about $12.00 a sheet. They will also have cutting boards if you wish to use those for firewalls, and of course ProBond urethane glue to hold everything together if you don't like CA. 2 3/8" gutter pipe should also be there, dowels for pushrods, etc.

Planes, Pedals, and Motorcycles! (In that order!)

I stopped being politically correct when I found out that some people were offended by it.
