ASP
I have the ASP 52 2 Stroke Series 3. Ran on my Kavalier... tons of power and very reliable. Little more power than I need for that aircraft, because it also was used as my float flyer.
Would buy another if I was in the market for a 2 stroke. |

I have a 10 or 11 year old ASP 91 that i fly in my Lanier stinger 60. Runs good, idles great sometimes can't get it to shutoff. I just gave it a antifreeze bath for the first time and mounted it back on the Stinger again. A Supertigre carb for the 61 and up will fit on these engines too, but i found that the ASP carb seems to give a little more power.

Hi,
Since you have ASP 40AS, what do you guys think of ASP 40 ABC engine. I just bought it today and want to have in my trainer tonight and start it tommarow morning, do you have any recommandations to how i can do it, i am told to run it lean so cylander head can warm up, now this procedure is different then other brand engines..Dont we actually run new engines rich for break in's!...plus how many turns do i need for for start up on card needle.. Any suggestions... Sammy
