yet another MWB

Well I slammed together another MWB today, its a surprise that Oilman included with my APHAJET kit It's not really a warbird but something else in the same vein. The plane was laser cut, as opposed to CNC routered like the first two MWB kits (Mustang and FW 190) went together almost as fast, tail feathers were a little trickier that than the first two, the vertical fin didn't go on as straight as I hoped for but its good enough for a Combat Ship. Just got to decide on a covering colour scheme at this point. The intended motor is a T5/3d , just not sure how to prop it or how many cells to use two or three. Oily?

HEHE you really did take the summer off.

Sounds like you built the Loyalist. See. Boy your really off form. No worries what with the 3 or 4 kits I sent ya you should be back in top form in no time.

I guess I forgot to tell you there were building instructions for download at my site eh!

Hey how did you get a T3/3D Seems to me when you asked me for one I was out. Who'd ya buy that off?? HHHMMM??

Or did you get one off me eventualy? I know I have some T5 and T3's now.

Anyways the T3 is rated at 2S but I seem to get away with 3S and a really small prop. Like APC E 4X4. My Loyalist flew with two 3S 750 mahs in parallel. A 3S1P 1500 or 1000 Mah would be better.

Hey I was thinking if you wanted too the Loyalist could be built with a forward swept wing. Just by reversing the trailing edge. Hmm I wounder how that would fly.

Unlike the T3, the T5 is rated for 12v. Not for high amp draw though. Stick to the small props. Like 6X4 and less. This is more than enough prop anyway for this size bird.

Pics??

It's at the covering stage, this usually takes longer than anything else for some reason even if its a simple two colour scheme. It turns out I have parts for two of these Loyalists, I'd forgotton about the one I got last September just before I got into a long and inolved rust erradication project on my '97 Geo Tracker
