Question about Installing Master Airscrew 3.0:1

I'm just in the process of gathering all the pieces I need to build the CG Electra kit i just got (Thanks Dave!) and from what I've read, I can boost the performance of the stock Turbo 550 motor quite a bit by using a Master Airscrew 2.5:1 or 3.0:1 gearbox.
Never having used one before, I'm wondering if there is anything difficult about mounting the gearbox to the stock motor? I've looked on the Master Airscrew website, but they don't have any documentation on how to install the gearbox. Does anyone know of a site that documents installing a gearbox? Is it so basic that I shouldn't need to ask :P
Great Hobbies sells the gearbox for ~$27 which is not too much to put out, but I just want to make sure I'm not ordering something that won't work.

Any feedback is greatly appreciated!

Master Airscrew 3:1 gearbox.

The gearbox attaches to the front of the motor by Allen screws.
I have a used one of these gearboxes I picked up some time back.
If you like I will mail it to you and you can install it and try it out. If you want to keep it you can send me $10. Let me know.

Gearbox and Tran Fluid

I agree with your idea of going to the gearbox for power. Please note that the motor included with the Electra is the Mabuchi 550 which is basically a 600 class motor. The master airscrew gearboxes are fine.
I know that Tower Hobbies has them available for both the 400 and 600 class motors. You can use the search feature and browse by manufacturer.
Then click on Tech notes for the product.
