lol.....got the motor started up for the first time since november on the weekend....and then also checked the field and would need to put floats on to fly off the runways......hopefully it'll be a little dryer next weekend...

Hey there britbrat. Those trees I assume are in the picture with the new pilot stations. Those shots were taken in my friends backyard. Not at the field.... I guess our staged photography was a little to realistic. If however you were speaking about the shot with the shelter in it...those trees are way off behind the runway. As you can see, the old fence was smashed down by the flooding and snow over the winter. In front of that is the runway, under the ice at that time.

Just as well, as that fence is being replaced in a few weeks with new pilot stations and all of the changes needed to adhere to the new MAAC recommended field changes. There are many changes including, new crosswind runway, new larger pit area, new pilot stations and moving the parking further back to meet this years regulation changes. It is going to be a busy Spring at most clubs I would imagine, given the new MAAC guidelines.
