Wheels

Hi Jim,

I knew there would be lots of comments, but I still thought I should pass along something that works - it may get people flying while the field while it is still a little soggy.

Modelers are special people and very creative, I look forward to creative and innovative solutions to common problems. I guess I'm lucky I didn't post, and show a picture of, my golf "wiffle ball" wheels for park flyers flying off snow - I imagine it would have created really interesting responses.

I've been in modeling a long time and I enjoy the comments and banter, please have fun, I know people are reading the post then, and hopefully someone will find it useful!

I'm looking forward to meeting some of you in the future, there is a great bunch of guys and gals here at RCC. I make sure I wear my "RC CANADA" name badge at swap shops, meets etc. Please introduce yourself if you see me.

Fly4Fun,

Wayne Miller

Jim

I have to agree with you. They do kinda look like golf cart wheels. I bought an Electric profile foamy in Toledo and the wheels that came with it look almost exactly like these wheels, only much smaller of course.

I'm sure Wayne knows that all of our comments are made in fun and no bashing is intended! As he said, he expected some of these comments to be made anyway. Well, they work and he is able to get out flying and thats the important thing. And it did prove helpful Wayne as I am going to pick up a couple pairs for myself!

Its a beautiful day, I have my foamy cub flying so I gotta get back over to the school yard and practice my IMAC routine...... Now theres a comment that deserves bashing...LOL!

I just got back from Princess Auto, and did indeed see those said wheels - or I should say wheel - they had only one in stock!! They are surprisingly light....

As if there weren't already enough reasons to go to P.A.
