The review I read about the Sport-Maxx stated that it was better than the T-Maxx for racing. The reduction in moving parts and lighter weight made a big difference in it's ability to get around a race track and maintenance was reduced as well. The fact that you can upgrade to full 4WD or even add the reverse module at a later date is a bonus and makes this a very versatile truck. Sounds like a good place to start in nitro monster trucks.
