JR Century VII receiver

I bought a box of bits and pieces for a few dollars at a garage sale. Inside I found older JR Century VII, NER-327X receiver, including Xtal. (72.400)
There is a sticker that says low band, 72.010 - 72.510 MHz . I still use JR X347 PCM transmitter but it works with 72.830 Xtal. If I buy the same Xtal
for this receiver, will it work well or at all?
The transmiter manual says that this type of receiver is compatible with above mentioned transmitter. But I am not sure about low and high band.
Can anyone help?

Thanks, Jan.

I am pretty sure the century VII receivers were specific to those transmitters only.I would double check just to make sure.

I had a simular question about a ner 527x differant rx yes but mine was high band where i am using low band. I did a "ask danny " on RCU website this is what i got as a reply'

"This used to be done by JR, but was changed several years ago and the receivers are no longer split in the band. The receiver may work fine as is, but it would be best to send it in for a check up just to be certain the tuning is good. "

But as Bigguy stated the NER 327X might only work with the Century VII TX
