Emergency Balsa and Ply Source

I don't know if it has been mentioned before but I just came from Michaels (craft store) and they carry Midwest Ply and Balsa. Not exactly the cheapest but I needed 2 sheets of 3/32 X 4 X 48 and they had it.

Just to add.....

Depending where someone is, pull out the yellowpages and look under art stores or art supplies. Most art stores have balsa sheets and other wood. Also, architecture supply stores carry them too. All these sources are expensive too, but looking at some hobbystores (not all, but some), these prices may be cheaper.

Whether if its emergency or not, do some research, and then factor in distance and time to get to them.

This is probably common knowledge to most, but those who are starting out in scratch building or doing a first time repair job, these might help.
