Anyone know of a Sureflite supplier north of the 49th?

I'm in Victoria, and <<www.e-flightline.com>> sells them in the U.S. about a 2 hour's drive South of me in Port Orchard, Washington, but I want to stay Canadian if possible....

Thanks for the tips

I love your RBC Kits, but

1) With this great weather, i'm too impatient to build anything too extensive, and

2) I fly in a field that is less than stellar landing areas, and would not want to put your lovely aircraft through that torture!! I will be belly landing in rougher grass, so I will wait until I move to a location with a better landing strip before I buy an RBC....Sorry.

Thanks though

Sorry not to stick my foot in here earlier. Been busy and internet was basicaly off line for a few evenings.

I was inquiring about surefligt before they sold or made whatever arrangement with e-flightline.

These planes were a bargain. But now just so so.

Yes the RBC kits are not something you want to knock about a lot. After the time invested in building. But they are pretty tough.

Hows about a couple pics of your flying area.

If your looking for a mid size ARF type (less emotional attatchment) consider one of the following.

GWS. A little small. But with brushless upgrade and Lipoly they can go like a bullet. Prof being. My buddy did a Spitfire. I tried to video tape it. But it moved to fast!!

Alfa. Nice looking foam plane. But not to many venders in Canada. Great Hobbies maybe.

HET ARFS. Check out my P40 build thread I'm working on. There are warbirds, golden age racers and fun flyers. The warbirds were developed from / by the RC combat crowd. They are fast stable and tough. A friend in Holland used the HET racing motor T6/13 and clocked his Hien at 164 kph. The price on these is a little more than GWS and cheaper than Alfa.

All the above examples will be a lot cheaper to get into because of there size. The Sureflight are a tad big. And will require big $$ in components.
