Our club dues, Flying Tigers, are $70 per year with an iniation fee of $50 extra, $130 for the first year plus proof of MAAC insurance of course! Not exactly sure what the dues are for seniors and junior members but I know its very reasonable for these folks.

Anyone who has been to our field knows that we have an awsome setup. We have an impound shed and a beautifully designed and operating frequency board system! We have our own lawn cutting equipment and our field manager, Brian Facey, does a wonderful job of keeping the grass in top notch shape! A seperate storage shed for the lawn tractor(s) The washroom facilities are the best I have ever seen at any field with seperate rooms within the one building for both men and women as well as a sink with running water to washup. We also have a covered area with picnic tables to sit and or repair our planes at the field plus a huge spectator awning with tables for those who come to watch.

All in all, I have to say it is one of the nicest fields and setups I have seen anywhere. And talk about a great bunch of guys, again, you couldn't ask for any better! $70 per year.....a real bargon for what we have!

$35/yr with an average 55-60 member base.

Field rent ~$350/yr, we have a 300 x 100 foot E-W runway and a 200 x 100 N-S runway.

We own our own tractor, outhouse, picnic and work tables.

A super bunch of guys that host the Jet Rally each June, a Float Fly each summer and at least 1 BBQ.

Winter Ski flys may or may not work depending on the weather...
Life is either a daring adventure...

HMA dues are $100 with 31 paid members, room for 40. We have 2 mowers and 2 hand mowers, field is $500 year. A lot of money gets eaten up in fuel, equipment maintainance, porta potti, etc. We spent money over the last few years on proper safety barriers, covering over picnic tables etc. We offer a $50 dues rebate to 8 guys who go on the regular grass cutting team.

Cambridge Float Flyers is $10. Maximum 10 members. we have our float pond thru the city with no charges at this point. No maintainance required and no conveniences at this point.

Brant Flyers is $100 initiation and $50 year membership. I don't know any other details.

In the Greater Sudbury area we have three clubs, two of which I am a member...

Greater Sudbury Modelers have the dues at $60 per year
Cambrian RC Flyers are currently at $50 per year

Both clubs are hovering at approx. 25 members if I'm not mistaking, and both clubs offer deals for Seniors, and juniors under 18...I believe GSM also accepts Canadian Tire money for dues but that could have been some sarcasm after a few beer one day...I'm not 100% on that one

Well well well... for me to join back into my club... ( we had a whole big messy thing go on with a new neighbor that moved in... had to limit the number of flyers to 40...) it will be around $750.00.... So now you know why I love floatplanes... I am a member of the club ($50.00 a year) but I can't fly at the field ( I can fly as one of the safety committy members guest, but only to a max of 5 times a year ) ....

Wow! That royally sucks! Time for someone to start up a new field location in your area.

It if very dissappointing how neighbors can destroy a field location.
