Has anybody put a ten oz fuel tank in the SSE. The plans Call for an 8 oz which I have been using but it looks like a 10 would fit. The 8 gives me about 10 minutes until I am out of fuel. I would like to have a bit of a time cushion.

What make and size of engine are you running? I had a ThunderTiger 46 Pro in mine with the an 8 oz tank and could get at least 15 min of flying at the higher end of the throttle range.

I used the same engine in a Debonair Spad with only a 6 oz tank and got a solid 10 min of flying! Are you running full throttle most of the time?

Anyway the question was whether a 10 oz would work. I see no reason why you shouldn't be able to fit a tank that size. Different Mfg's make different dimensions of tanks so check for one that is more rounded or square instead of rectangular in shape and it should slide right in!
