Ugly Meet

I can only endorse what has already been said. It was my first "Active" participation in to flying in almost two yrs. I am completely overwhelmed.
The weather God's were with us, the flying field was in great shape, and the
Besterist, Nicerist , bunch of peoples you ever met in your life, were all there on that little green patch, with only one thing on their minds, HAVING FUN, and this we certainly did. The Sat-night meal , topped the day just right.
My own perpersonal thank's to the great guy's who made the week-end most enjoyable. I have only missed about 4 or 5 visits to the "Ugly Meet", in the last 34 years , most of the great guys that were around at the beginning , are still going strong today, I take my hat off to them, and wish those and everyone else within the Club, many, many happy future years of fun and good friendship.
The week-end was especially great for me, I picked up a beautifully built , pristine condition ,1/3 scale Bipe. I have just the engine ,ready to put into that empty cowl.
Thank you, one and all, for a great weekend. "D.B".

I had a great time in the Soo, I can't think of a better way to kick of the fun fly season! Hats off to all the guys who organised it and put the work into making this a good fun fly.

As Andrew said, the IMAC contests was really fun for me. It was my first time flying it, and I was pretty nervous! Hopefully I fly the pattern better for the NOIC this summer .

Great weekend, and I hope to see the Soo guys at some more fun fly's coming up!
