I have been looking at the Carl Goldberg anniversary edition piper cub and was wondering if any one has built this model and if so what do think about this kit. Also any pointers you could give me would be greatly appreciated

I found this Cub to be quite easy to build and is a very nice flyer. No real issues with the building at all! I have found that most all Goldberg kits are fairly straight forward to build. Decent plans and documentation as well! Build it and enjoy!

Built two myself as well I used the second one as a trainer.Builds a little heavy but that doesn't take anything away from it as it still is nice plane to build and fly. After the second one was rekitted for me by my brother I clipped it and it still is going today just not by me but a friend.Do yourself a favour and even though you don't need them make sure you put the wing struts on as it look's the part.Good luck with it and I hope you enjoy yours as much as I did mine for years.John
If I could fit in my plane I would

I built two,....also. Liked the first one so much, that after banging the first one up so much (my second airplane ) I built another......some of the most fun I've had at the flying field was with that cub.

It is a very popular kit, and a lot of people have built and flown them sucessfully. As long as you are not worried about it not being totally scale, it is a great toss around airplane.

My dad clipped the wings, put trike gear on one and turned it into a sorta-tripacer....it flew very well on a .36.

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you will have to catch up.
