I have a decided to sell my 1/3 scale Sopwith Pup. It is a beautiful flyer. Powered by a G62, it will grace any field. This plane is easy to fly, and easy to control. Take-offs are a breeze, and landings are just as easy.
The 1/3 scale model is a faithful reproduction of this early aircraft. The plane is exact scale in every detail. Rib spacing, tail size, shape, and everything about the model is as accurate as can be made. Nothing has been added or taken away. Even though the model is exact scale, it is easily taken apart for transportation. Only about 10 minutes are required for field assembly and less for take down. THe wings break down to 4 foot sections for easy transportation.
This plane also includes the "Scale 9" Spoked Wheels. The plane comes complete with the fake cylinders to hide the G62, and I have the Vickers gun kit that I will throw in. I will even include the servos (giant scale) for the elevator rudder and throttle (regular size).
What is not included is the G62 engine. If you are interested, I will sell the engine separately for $400 or with the plane
Asking price is $550 for the plane only and $900 with the G62.
I can meet anyone interested within 100 kilometers or as arranged. The specs are as follows. This baby is probably too big to ship, but if your interested in paying the shipping, I will get 'er done fer ya.
Wing Span 108"
Weight 29 Lbs.
Engine 2.7 Cu. In. & up
