Beuatiful night for flying....

Finally got my Hog bipe finished (old covering had peeled off the lower wing on the last flight! ), so I headed out to the field after supper. What a gorgeous night...sunny, no wind, and no bugs. There were quite a few guys (and one gal) out there and several times there were 3 planes in the air at once. I got in five great flights. When I left at 9:50, the sun hadn't even set yet, and I could have flown even more if I had brought my field charger....

It was one of those perfect days at the flying field !!

Wayne,
Out last night with Brian and was the same way. Love this time of the day with light or no wind, Sun at your back. Allan clobbered the weeds on the tarmac and nearly all are gone and with the next rain they will be to. Don't know what he used (ex farmer) but everything turned to powder. Also with the rain we had it is like the surface has been washed off.
Just flew my coro as it was the one with the problems when the engine was up over half throttle(irratic). New switch and back to normal so shot lots of touch and goes. And I did replace all my switch's this spring but this one didn't like me. Anyways very smooth running engine (CS 46 from Hughes 500) and for something cheap having lots of fun.
Back out tonight weather permitting but need lots of Deep Woods.
John
