Got mine the other day.
I was impressed by the overall look and feel of the magazine.
I was also interesting to see some of the car stuff. While I'm not really into RC cars, it was interesting to see some of the stuff going on.

Maybe, a good future "Canadian" article would be how to start an engine an keep it going at -0C.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks guys, I really appreciate the feedback!

So far the over-all response has been really great!!!

I am very happy that everyone had some positive things to say about our new magazine, including the direction we took, as well as the product we will be bring to you every couple of months! If that's not enough, we will be growing the magazine with every new issue, to including regular columns, how to's, and more.

Thanks again!

Got mine on Thursday the 21st. A good start- rather unique with the airplane mag on one side and the car mag on the other. More content would be appreciated but as I understand from Dean's post above, that's on the way. How about some construction articles from some of our Canadian designers? Canadian planes/Canadian designers would be a cool theme. Overall a good look to the magazine with lots of colour and all glossy paper. One thing that 'bothered' (I use the term very loosely) me a bit was that many of the photos had no captions. For example in Ken Parks' S.M.A.L.L. article there are several excellent photos of planes and pilots but no captions regarding the planes and most importantly, putting names to the faces! It would be good to know the names of those featured in FRCC/DRCC.

Good job! Looking forward to the next issues.

Editor Dean - Bent over backward for me!

Just to clarify - Dean the editor bent over backwards to slip me into this First issue and he was working on a very tight deadline at the time to get the 2004 SMALL event in there. Working over the internet sending photo's and pilots names etc can not be an easy task!

I just want to say Thank-you Dean! - I've had lot of local Ottawa people say how much they enjoyed seeing some local Ottawa content in the mag and how good it was.

Iam happy to announce that the 2005 Dynamic Hobbies event was held this last weekend Saturday 23 July and it was huge! 48 registered pilots.

One of the pilots had a camera plane and has displayed them on his own web site.

I guess we can look forward to seeing more SMALL stuff in a future article if Dean wants it!

Well it's been a little while since someone posted, so I'm guessing that everyone got their mags, and are hopefully happy with the product!

So, to close this out, I want to thank everyone once again, for either posting here, or contacting me directly. I really appreciated all the feedback...which it turns out was extremely positive!

Thanks again!

Take care,

PS. Please note that the new subscription contest was extended till August 31, 2005. Good luck!!!
