Anyone here using a real RC hovercraft ?
Meaning the one that lifts up on a skirt ( usually rubber ) ....
I've done some searching and find a lot of "hovercraft" but these are more like boats.
The one I'm interested in, is one that moves on a blanket of air.
Any help appreciated.

I built one many years ago, no difference in boredom level between them and r/c cars...
Full-size? My mentor built a hoovercraft for his 8yr old kid, using a 3 1/2hp lawnmower engine and a hand-carved 4-blade prop. The thing was controlled by leaning only, and very quickly the kid was covering the neighbourhood on it!
I designed a machine for a friend so that he can travel up and down the local river (too shallow for boats most of the year) using a couple of 5 or 6hp mower engines; we'll see...
