Well its getting awefully close.....we are all meeting in Toronto on Monday the 15th and flying out that evening for France, arriving mid afternoon on the 16th.

Depending on our ability to access the internet we will (well Dez will) be providing daily updates on the team site. Pictures possibly depending on connection speed but for sure text hopefully with daily scores.

This is the biggest WC in history, 118 fliers from 43 countries.... that makes for some 572 official flights over the 6 days!!

With the surge in electric power it will also be the first time ever that YS has not dominated for a power source. There should be a lot of innovative things surrounding the electric planes.

F3a Worlds 2005

Hi folks,

Just wanted to add my best wishes to the team as they prepare to represent our country in France. It takes lot's of dedication in time, effort and money to put together a good team.

I have added a links page to the Pattern West iNews website for those interested in updates and information. You can see it at http://members.shaw.ca/patternwestnews/wc05.htm

Best of luck and kick some butt over there.

Thanks guys!

We will do our best to keep everyone updated with the "coolest" happenings. Hopefully with a fast connection we can put lots of pictures up.

Now if Air Transat will let us on with our planes we will be set!!
