Lost my mind...

Yup, still nothing....
The battery is completely repaired and acting normal since the last building glitch, although I have moved nowhere near forward. I am still stuck in the same place. Everything hooked up seemingly correct, although no radio movement. The steps I have taken so far are:
Ensure crytals are correct and installed properly
Change sub trims to neutral and adust control movements.
Test receiver with 4.8V battery pack
Follow start up procedure
Try every channel
Try different model memories
Basically everything I can think of...
Nothing works! And I am losing my mind. My radio is a JR XF622 and it is the Hitec Feather flight pack with single conversion receiver and crystal (I checked!) Please help me (again) before I start playing table tennis with HS-55's!
Thanks Again

have you tried the Tx with a JR receiver?
do you know the Rx works with JR? - did it work before?

have you checked the fuse in the Tx?
did you fry the computer in the TX- been there done that

couple of things that come to my mind

When your battery shorted out, was anything else connected to it at the time?
when you turn on the flight pack switch, do your servos jitter or move at all?
If the servos do nothing when you turn the switch on and off, then power is not getting from the battery, through the switch, through the reciever to the servos.
If this is the case, then either the switch or the reciever is faulty.
Plug the battery directly into the reciever, to bypass the switch.
If nothing moves at all when you plug/unplug the battery, then the reciever is likey at fault.
It could be either the crystal, or the reciever itself.

The Tx is in excellent working condition. I use it with my other models and all is good. The receiver is fresh out of the box, along with all the other components. Nothing was connected to the battery during the shorting incident. It was a brain glitch while changing connectors. I have plugged a battery directly into the receiver and there was absolutely no servo movement. So as it looks now, the receiver is the problem in the equation.

Your receiver may be the wrong shift it may be for a futaba or hitec shift. Futaba and hitec are negative shift and airtornics and jr are positive. I have had the receivers wrong out of the box. If it is not marked on the receiver as it may have been packaged wrong check it with a futaba or hitec transmitter on the same channel.
