BVM Sabre project probably about 50% complete. Wings and tail group are glassed and primed, fuse is primed and cockpit hatch has been cut out and framed. Workmanship appears to be first rate.
This is the one piece wing version. At this point, it could be completed as either a ducted fan or a turbine.
Wingspan is 60", length 58" It flies very well on a 12lb turbine.
Fuse, cockpit, H9 pilot, canopy
Wings, ailerons, flaps
Stab halves, elevators
plans, manual, addendums, turbine conversion manual, F-86 Walkaround
inlet duct for turbine
A huge bag of remaining parts, including laser cut, and carbon fibre parts. Everything appears to be there, but has not been inventoried.
retracts, struts, wheels, brakes
turbine mount and tailpipe
Although a lot of work has been complete, there is a lot to do yet, and some shopping needs to be done for the not-included items. Violett's Go-Fly price is $2744 US http://www.bvmjets.com/KitPrices/f86_t_qs.htm
You can get a head start and save some bucks with this project priced at $895 (CDN, of course) plus packing and shipping if required.
The wings and tail have not been joined attached yet, so shipping is very possible.
