Oh wow, Cool.

I recognize the "set" that they are blowing up from an old RC Video Magazine that covered a war re-enactment. Wasn't this in Oshkosh? I may be way off. The event I saw covered was over 10 years ago though.

Any date or location info for this clip?

If it is as old as I think then that is some great cam carrying machine! The camcorder would have been ginormous then.

I'm gonna go see if I can dig up that RC Video Magazine.

Thanks for sharing,

EDIT: I found reference to the "Striking Back" event in Volume 16 RCVM from 1990. ( note filename )

There's an article on Fred Anderson preparing a model of a "Zero" for total destruction during the re-enactment. I remember that article too, it also took place at the same field with those large silver vertical tank thingies.

So I guess "Strikes Back" is the name of the event. Does anyone know if it was a one off?

Looks like the old Byron warbird set. I'm not sure if this event is even held any more.
