RCM&E from Britain is my favourite. Free plans every month and the reviews are quite honest.

Got to agree on the RC Report, the most honest publication ever.
I also sub to Fly RC but I find the engine reviews just so-so ( just kidding Andrew, I've never seen better info on engines in any other mag).

I OCCASIONALLY pick up a copy of RCM or Model Airplane News if there's is something that interests me but I wouldn't subscibe to either one. They're afraid to bite the hand that feeds them so all reviews are never bad, just some are better than others.

The internet is the best "magazine" available. Anything you would pay for off the shelf is biased by advertising and sponsers. There is never a bad review!

Thanks for all the input guys and thanks to Dennis Pratt who brought me a selection of magazines to look at, MAN, RCM, FLYRC, and RC REPORT.

After looking them over, and comparing subscription prices with those and some of the UK mags that were suggested I think I've decided on RC Report. It seems to have good honest reviews, a very reasonable subscription rate, minimal advertising, and just the right amount of sarcastic humour thrown in to keep even an article on CA fun to read.
