Hey Patrice,

Certainly you can fly eletric at any regional club. I fly only eletric now at ORCC - both EDF and prop. ORCC has a 400 paved runway and a very nice building for doing maintence. They also have free training every wednesday night if you need it.

You can find the web site with directions and rules here:
If you can't make it fly, use a bigger motor!

Electric's fly with Glider guys also!

The Glider field for the ORCC West of Manotick is also avail for E-flyers.
The glider field are normally located on Sod Farm property. So if you need a few acres of space and want to land in any direction check out the Glider field for the ORCC.

Don't forget the distance you may have to travel to join the ORCC. You may want to join the Stetson Flyers who fly in the East end of the Ottawa area. Not to far off Boundary Rd on the 417 going towards Montreal.

The other club is Les Ailerons

I do believe there are 2 main pure Electric groups in Ottawa and alot of them belong to the Rideau Flyers near Manotick. Rideau have a big electric event each year.

Patrice's background

Patrice, could you explain your background in RC aircraft?

From first glance, your background history seems to have been cars for a long time, and you're now jumping into RC aircraft with the DARE A-10.

Is that correct?

If it is, I can see some problems from the lack of learned reactions to aircraft.
