ASP .61 and Royal .45 2 stroke

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!

I just picked up two engines, and ASP .61 and a Royal .45, both have very good compression and tight bearings. They are both used but the Royal appears to be almost new.

Does anyone have any experience or know anything about the performance of these engines?

Any help would be appreciated.

here's a start
Only problem I had with my ASP was the carb.
Had the royal briefly but never had any trouble with it either

Get you support and parts from Paul. JEN is in UK, but service has been commendable for me. Service and replies to emails are very prompt. Parts arrive in 5-7 days. For ASP, I believe they have bins full of parts. I am confident he has your carb Ken.

If you surf around there note that the prices in (GBP) on the site include UK taxes. If you want your real cost, multiply by .85, in otherwords take 15% off.

Too bad I didn't see this question or you ask it of me a bit over a week ago when I ordered a conrod. Your new ASP carb could've flown over in the same box as my parts and this burly looking brand new JEN56.
