need some advice here
I am building the BME Edge 540 and have opted to use the carbon fibre stab tube. Very light.
and following the instructions, I have the thing all lined up and have mounted the tailplane on the tube, drilled and tapped for 6-32 bolts.
But I find the fit to be less than perfect. That is even though the stab halves are tight to the fuselage, there is still a bit of play.
I was thinking of shimming the root sections with some 1/64 ply
any thought/suggestions are appreciated.
