I guess Ill go ahead and say this now that someone else had a similar experience... I lost my Extra 300s about a month ago, nose dived right into the ground. I had to dig the engine out of the field if that puts things in perspective. It was a .60 size, so it wasnt THAT costly... compared to that 46%, but it was still upsetting

We have a wind sock on the far side of our field as an auxiliary to our main wind indicator. There is a standing $20 prize for anyone that hits it but it is in its second year now unclaimed.
My best hit involved half looping my 1/3 Taube to drop an egg out of one cockpit then finishing the loop and hit the falling egg square with the prop and sprayed the model yellow
Couldnt do that again in a lifetime............yes I had witnesses

Well, I think everyone in this hobby has crashed something or done something stupid that they arent proud of. Ill be the first to admit that! Unfotunatly, it is a part of this hobby. Thankfully we arent flying real airplanes (although if we were we would have a LOT more inspections and cirtifications)

Hey Kevin.. Maybe that prize should be a replacement plane of the one that hits the pole
