Hey, last time I flew this plane the engine died on me and went strait down with a nice graceful spiroll. I was flying at my cousin's lake so I didnt hit the ground. There wasnt too much damage. I am putting it back together with my new radio and wondering where the C.G. is supposed to be located. I dont have the manual to it handy. I believe I had the C.G. close to where it was, that I thought... What is the safest place to put it for a second "maiden voyage"??

Also, why would the airplane have completly lost control when the engine shut off?? Too much weight in the front? I remember fighting with the controls and it wouldnt respond to anything.

Your problem indicates that the plane was snapping continuously after poer out. I would say that the plane was tail heavy.Make sure to measure on an empty tank.

Got the airplane up in the air today. I had one of the really good aerobatic pilots at the club test it out first. It manuvers real well. Second flight the engine died on him before he got to hand me the remote and came in HARD on his dead stick.. knocked the main gear and the bottom of the fuselage off Oh well, had it been me I would have hit even harder
