rush evo blown spider gears wtf

i just bought this truck on friday and iv had a few problems, but now i was drivin it up the street and went to turn around and it wouldent drive and sounded realy bad out the rear end, so i pulled the diff out and the spider gears r fried. why did it do this, is there a stronger diff i can but and can i change to a 2 speed trani, im lookin for more reliablity, i deal wiht steve form pick hobbie if he is on here can i have his user name. cause i deffinatly need to order some hot rod parts.

it was packed wiht grease i have had this truck scince friday, likelast week friday, like 4 days barley broke in. i was told these nitro trucks were a alot of upkeep but wtf this is getin outa hand it has broke 4 times already and i have been on road all the time
well a bit off road but nothin harsh just a little dirt no rocks

imo on hardtop/pavement its harder on the running gear ... my sportmax riped out 2 cvd's on pavement after the 4x4 upgrade!!! no problems at all on dirt : maybe you got a dud?
