It may be useful to share what you plan on doing. Overall painting. Small details. Do you want to be able to blend colours etc. I don't know airbrushes, but I know the type depends on the painting you want to do.

There are so many different types of EVERYTHING out there that I always have to read for hours before I buy anything new.

Good Luck

Air Brush

Here is some information which you may find usefull

This is a US supplier with many different combinations available.

Now I have a question
Is there a Canadian supplier for Air brushes and compressors as it is about time I replaced some of my "antiquated" gear? The above firm will only ship compressors UPS and into Canada this is not a good scene.

I haven't painted for a bit but will be doing some in the spring. For a compressor I changed from the small hobby type to a regular one with tank. When it gets up in pressure it automatically shuts of and starts when low. Some have a built in regulator for adjusting pressure but I also have one that I plug into the outlet also with a guage for setting. If you need a filter and dryer they also can be installed on the outlet.
I have a Pasche(spelling?) which I do not use much but my favorite is an automotive touchup gun. I have 2 and my only complaint is the containers are to small. That is the main reason for 2 as I can fill both and just change the containers when shooting.

so, what i'm looking for, is a reliable airbrush, decent quality.basicaly i need it for adding color scheme on top of iron covering, insignias, stripes, so on.well, maybe more, like base color on an airframe, for planes around 60-80 in. wingspan.
i have the compresor, and i have to decide what airbrush.it seems that Badger is top brand.but another decent one will be fine as well.airbrush city, paasche, are the other brands that are coming frequently in my searches.
as i have no experience with this gadgets, i'm wondering, do i realy need a double action, or gravity feed one?don't know yet. :
