Converting to and from metric

Many of you already use this small program.

For those that don't have CONVERT.EXE you can download the latest version at the following web site.

Converts many things from metric to Imperial or US and back.

I have used it for years and it works great.

It's easy to use too.

It's definitely one of the more useful programs freeware I have come across. I have passed it on to science teachers, co-workers and others who have found it useful as well.

Another useful free program is World time available at, particularly if you travel a lot or are working across several time zones. Another neat feature in this program is the astronomical data that is available for each location you set up a clock for.

So let's see......

0 metres altitude = bad idea = 0 ft altitude

0 C = I'm not flying
0 F = I'm definitely not flying!

Similarly 0 fuel, 0 airspeed (excluding 3D) seems like that part of the conversion works without the software.

They say trees are 90% air. Personally I think they are 100% tree.
