Hi all, great idea for a scale project!
On a full scale plane, externals fly better on the right side, and with a Norseman or Otter, you can put the boat on with the Bow foward, it actually flies better and faster. The tail is high enough the airflow dosent effect it. Attach it so the centre lne of the canoe/boat is the same angle as the line of thrust of the aircraft.

I am in the process of building the UHS Norseman on floats, and the thought of putting an external load on it never crossed my mind, what a great idea!!
