Paul is right I have a near new stock DA50 muffler to trade for the slimline muffler providing it fits my setup and will reduce the noise level substantially.
The pictures will give a good idea of the setup and the space available for the wrap around muffler. Essentially the muffler can't be wider than 1-1/4" from the rear of the cylinder head to the back of the muffler. The firewall is 1-3/8" from the cylinder head.
I do not know if the muffler would work in your installation, given the way the bottom of your motor box is built. I think I will hold onto my slimline until i get my standoffs so i can test fit my application. I've read that it wouldn't work, but new info has come to light and apparently it will fit. As for noise and power, the Slimline is quieter than the stock muffler however, from what i've read, you'll lose about 200-300 rpm. You could try looking for Bisson muffler as they are very similar and they are lighter than the slimline.
