I have a Futaba 8UA with a RD 127 receiver. I need to use a programable mix - ELEVATOR to CH7 to operate twin elevator servos. Can anyone help?
The futaba website is wrong it refers to a 9Ch radio with dials which my old but trustwothy 8UA does not have.

The futaba web-site mix for CH2 & CH7 is:http://www.futaba-rc.com/faq/faq-9z-q150.html
You can use a free mix to set up the twin elevator servos, or any other two-servo combination by simply doing a pmix of the primary channel to the secondary channel at 100% with trim on and link on, offset off and switch assignment NULL so that the mix is always active. Here is an example of mixing 2 to 7 on the 8U:
A standard mix from 2 to 7 to work twin elevators:
___ Choose a pmix not in use
___ Press + to make it active (on/off)
___ Press arrow over to get to the master channel
___ Press + until it says ELEV
___ Arrow over to slave channel
___ Press + until it says CH 7
___ Arrow over to the %
___ Hold full down elevator and press the + key until it is +100
___ Hold full up elevator and press the + key until it is +100
___ Arrow over
___ Leave link off
___ Arrow over
___ Press + to turn the trim follow on so your elevator trim will trim both servos
___ Leave offset at 0
___ Leave switch setting at NULL
This should work and there aren't any dials.
