Need Help Choosing Raptors

I'm going to order a Raptor 30 v2 or a Raptor 50 v2 from heli-world soon... Do you think they're trustworthy? Which set should i choose?

Raptor 30 V2 Sport Helicopter Kit
Futaba 6EXH FM Radio W/5-S3151
O.S. 32 SX-H Helicopter Engine
Century PG 2000 Gyro

Futaba 6EXH FM Radio w/R127DF & 4-S3151
Futaba 401 Gyro W/9254 SERVO

Do you think it is worth it?

Also do you have any advice for a noob such as me on safety, tips on flying and stuff like that? I'm practicing on my simulator and i almost got the hovering technique... Also can you help me choose a better "combo/set-up" on heli-world?

Thanks for looking

You can get good advise and help with stuff like this at a LHS like Hobby Hobby or A&J Hobbies. Both have numerous modelers working there who are into Helis and could help you out.

How about the club you belong to. What are the guys flying there? Maybe one of the guys has a used heli they may sell to you.

It sounds like you are newbie heli pilot. Have you considered starting with say an Electric Blade CP. They are only about $275.00 for everything including a 6 ch radio. One of the heli guys in our club got one and said they were harder to fly then gas heli but also cheaper to repair when crashed. He said if you could master hovering and forward flight on the Blade then transitioning to gas heli would be easier.

Checkout the helis for sale forum there were a couple of used ones going for around $200.00.

I take it your prices are in US Dollars and this heli-world is in the US. How much help will they be when you need some advice? JMHO!
