Hi Eicas, You asked "Why are the motel rates so high". I just found out why last night. It's because of the birds! NO NOT WARBIRDS, the fethered kind! I booked a room at a motel for Jetcrazy & I for this event last night and the rates were a lot higher than last year. So I asked if their rates had gone up a lot. NO!
There are a lot of people come here in April/May to see the birds migrate north. Therefore lots of tourists looking for rooms; therefore the room rates go up! The rates are actually cheaper in July/Aug.
Not good but at least it explains why the rooms are more expensive!

We had a second meeting with the airport owner. All looks good. We can use part of the the hanger to store planes on Friday and Saturday night if you care to.

We will reduce the entry fee from $25 to $20.

With so many pilots comming that should cover the cost of the airport rental.

A few fellows were inquiring if we will be making shirts with a logo "First Annual Jets Over Leamington" Paul is investigating the cost, how much interest would there be?
