Stretching a Raptor 50

Can the R50 accept a longer tail boom ........ and longer blades?

I want to go to 650 or 680mm main blades without the added chasis weight of a 60.

Eric. The new Raptor Titanium will accept 620mm blades. Parts should be available in a month or so. You could convert the boom, pushrod, blades and belt. I do not think that it could power 660mm blades and still fly a camera platform properly? Why not purchase a 60 Raptor, I am sure there are some around for a good price.

The Raptor 60 runs somewhere around 3 to 4 pounds heavier. My hope was to stretch the smaller heli and gain some weight advantage.
Bigger blades running at lower RPM for less vibration.

That being said, if the 50 is being pushed to the limit then there is no choice but to go to the bigger ship.

Thanks Mike.
