I'm sure you've all seen it. The plane that is just at home in water as it is in the air or on the ground.

I'm looking at the Miss Hangar One model. Has anyone else built/flow this plane. Also is there a Canadian supplier?

I searched the forums but came up with nothing.

Tons of p[lans on the 'Net to make this one for yourself, but I also see (back page of the MAAC mag) that Great Hobbies is selling an ARF for $70.00.

yeh, I'm not quite prepared to build from scratch. I can put a kit together but I don't think I have the patience to cut every piece accurately out of balsa.

I've looked at Great Hobbies however it doesn't look quite as nice as the Miss Hangar One.

Amelvin: The MHO seems to have hit the nail on the head - it's probably the best handling one out there. There's a huge thread over in rcgroups on it - there are about 4500 posts so far's made from 3mm Depron foam, not balsa. I have the plans for the MHO here - got them from the guy who sells the kit - they're there on his web site. If you want I can send them to you - 'cuz I'll be darned if I can remember the name of his site I know skycraft here in town sells Depron for $9 a sheet (24" x 36") - I'd think you *might* be able to do it from one sheet. Otherwise it'd be 2. (nothing like stating the obvious, huh? )

<edit> got the plans from here:
Mine is not to reason why; I just wire them up to fry...I mean Fly!

Graupner and BME both have versions out and they are currently available in Canada through hobby shops...

The sooner you fall behind, the more time you will have to catch up.

L:aser cut parts for those who want a short kit.

We have laser cut lots of these models in a short kit for modelers who wanted to do a bit of the build themselves.

We offer them on a "as ordered basis" You can contact us for details if you are interested.
We also will cut a full kit if you prefer.

Oh...The laser cut Depron is tougher than the die cut kits because the laser fuses the edge of the foam parts.
